I offered to be a miller before I converted my wheat field ..
I simply cant afford to do the change right now
I never got to talk about this with Pangea, the last week of her term was hectic.
I was throwing some idea's around with Plymouth on being able to get some cheap bread. It consisted of supplying cheap wheat £12 a bag to their miller who would sell to their baker who would bake cheap bread. But I don't know that it has to be confined to bread. If we supplied cheap wheat to the miller they should be able to sell it back to us cheaply.
My spreadsheet indicates that @
12£ for wheat
20£ wage
The miller could supply flour @ 14£ a bag
that supplied to the baker, with his wage also £20 and wood at 4£ for wood
He can bake and supply bread at £5.89 a loaf
If Plymouth cant or wont do it, I think we could put a similar proposition to Chris from Barnstaple
