PostSubject: Unlocks the door...   Mon Feb 05, 2007 4:03 am

...and welcomes all.

"On behalf of Lord Mayor Methos, welcome all, let us introduce ourselves, and then listen to what 'le boss' has to stay, and start discussing who will be part of the TA, what shall it do, what proposals the mayor should make, and so forth..."

"My name is Pangea, I have 2 cow pastures in Chard which I will be using to stock my tavern (Mother Earth) with meat and milk. I have an apartment in Exeter, where I Reside (yet sadly cannot vote yet), and should only leave town on 2 day round trips (as infrequent as possible) to pick my Chard produce. I am running a small daily bulletin called the ~Exeter News~. And I have been hired as Town Hall janitor!"

Fantastic job, Pangea! I was thinking that since you already have the daily bulletin, and like putting that together, we could call you Minister of Information (Just like the County Spokesperson, but for the town). Is that alright with you?

I will be adding Syounger, possibly Chinahero (haven't asked him yet), and a few of the Exetr-born. I am thingking Backfromavalon, and a couple others.

Would love any and all input.

But seriously, this forum is BEAUTIFUL!

Thanks!
I'll make different groups once people arrive ))

About Minister of Information, that could be nice!

I was thinking of Police Lieutenant, since I like to check Market prices and who comes and goes in town, and taverns and such

But both could be interesting I guess

Double post, sorry:
I think that your offer is more logical (Minister of Information), and more along what I like to do anyhow...
...I was just thinking of Police Lieutenant because I thought (and still think) it would be fun, however, going over it, I believe I don't know the laws well enough for one, nor have enough IG experience. So, I'll keep on the backburner for one day, and thus say that since both were interesting, and one's both more logical, and what you offered, that I'd be delighted to offer my services as the 'town spokesperon'.

You can be police Lt. if you want. You know the laws better than the level ones that will be here.

Methos, let us see who else will be offering (or accepting) to be part of the TA... and what they want to do/are good at.
Then, according to that, I can offer my services for either Spokesperson or Police Lt. ((OOC: both would be fun for me game-wise)), whichever is not filled out....

Alright, this is waht I have been workling on:

2. Trade deals. I have bread coming.
3. I have someone coming that will be leveling to be a baker. Our priest (when he gets here) will be a miller. I am going to vompletely move, and I am a butcher. It should be a good start.
4. Diplomacy and grant locking.

Thanks for the update!

Concerning:

[1. Welcome letters to every level 0. ]
Do you want me to help you out with that, and send the letters to those people (as future Spokesperson that could be under the job description).

[2. Trade deals. I have bread coming.]
I still have 11 bread in stock in my Mother Earth tavern as of this morning (Mon' Feb' 12)

[3. I am going to vompletely move,]
I have put my cow fields up for sale, and will see if I can move here completely too, if they sell anytime soon

Also, do you know if anyone else will be joining the City Council soon?

I'm heading back to Plymouth after reset tomorrow. Going to work in my workshop until I have disposed of my fields. Depending on how fast I can sell my fields I might just abandon them and start again.

So really the time I return is flexible.

I've never been part of a TA before and I'm not too sure of the functions that they undertake. I've had a quick browse of the other forums, but I need to go back and read them in detail.

So yeah I'm more of a behind the scenes person if there is anything going along those lines let me know.

Hello All,

As a newborn to Exeter and RK I have a learning curve but I do know how to read and I have a few hours a day to help out what ever and where ever there is a need.

Might I add that I feel communication is a major key to any success and my hats off to Methos and Pangea for getting the ball rolling.

Nice website, very clean and easy on the eyes.

By stars and sun be well.

Thank you!
I know Mayor Methos is busy (he plays some kind of game called 'Real Life'...) this week-end, so he might not get back to you till Monday

Greetings. That soon to be baker and possibly banker of Exeter also would be me.

And another thing, I have no clue how much ladders cost... or should cost and many other things... But, I do know corn, fish, and boats.

Sorry for the delay, guys. I assure you that I have been working on the town, but I have not had the time to get everything here.

We should have plenty of bread now, and I will start selling less out of the TH as Zangi gets set up selling his.

Well, at this point, the primary problem is that I don't have money to get more. My other products arn't selling and... even though they are a reletively low price and I have not sold 1 piece of bread for a long time.

Someone with more charm is selling in the players market and I believe everyone is going for the town's bread first.

19-02-2007 11:50 : You have sold to Richard_davies 2 bread loaves for 6,40 pounds.

Would be the last one I sold, before I lowered my prices.

I'll lower my price again.

I have put some bread (20 I think) at the County price for it (it is taken from the County Grant I was awarded), so that should remain on sale in case of a sudden lack.
